The early history of the building is unknown. In literature, at the end of 18th century construction of the building began. Over the course of time, the house has been reconstructed several times, and a recent reconstruction revealed a number of built-in passages and unconnected walls of previous constructions on all levels of the building. At the beginning of the last century, the house was purchased by the tailor Novaković, and up until recently it was owned by his descendants. In the basement of the building, some thirty years ago, there was the most famous café in the city at that time: “Atrium”.
During the most recent restoration of the building, all the old elements of the building were preserved and restored. The foundations were reinforced, and the covered part of the basement area was further excavated.
On the upper floors of the house, there is an office. The basement has been turned into a hammam and the beauty salon is located on the ground floor.

Resting in the lobby, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the treatment that awaits you. You will also be able to choose the very content and the essence of the soap and oils, making each visit to the hammam personally focused on your needs and moods.
Even though Novi Sad has existed as a city only since 1748, these regions have an interesting history that has been marked by numerous peoples and cultures. After the banishment of the Turks at the end of the 17th century, on the left bank of the Danube, opposite the Petrovaradin Fortress, which was built by the Romans, and restored and maintained by Hungarians and Turks, a settlement of soldiers, craftsmen and traders - today's Novi Sad – was founded.
